These tiles are made from Red Oak and come pre-finished. This Parquet Flooring is usually installed with either a construction adhesive or glue, many which can be purchased at your local box store. This makes for an easy Do-It-Yourself project if you are looking to renovate a foyer, hallway, closet, pantry, or even a full room. This is a PREMIUM GRADE product that produces a spectacular finished product.
Each individual tile measures 6 5/16ths X 6 5/16ths x 5/16ths. Each individual tile has 2 sides "tongue" and 2 sides "groove" which makes for an easy assembly of the parquet pattern. When these 4 tiles are put together, they will create a square that is 12 5/8 inches by 12 5/8 inches (1.1 Square Foot.)
Just as a side note of caution - These tiles are just a bit larger than the industry standard of 6 inch tiles and will not work if your looking to repair an existing parquet floor comprised of 6 inch tiles.
