Antique Plate/Dish, Commemorative First 4 Prime Ministers of Canada 1900 B1

Description

This auction is for an antique ceramic plate, plaque or dish commemorating the first four Prime Ministers of Canada decorated with the symbol of the beaver in the center and the Canadian maple leaves.  It measures 9-1/4" in diameter. The backstamp reads N & C Toronto. The plate edge is highly detailed and embossed with gold paint.  Appearing on the plate, clockwise from the top:
Sir John A. MacDonald  (1815-1891), Conservative, First Prime Minister of Canada, served 1867-1873 and 1878-1891
Alexander MacKenzie (1822-1892), Liberal, Second Prime Minister, served 1873-1878
Sir John S.D. Thompson (1845-1894), Conservative/Liberal, Third Prime Minister, served 1892-1894
Sir John J.C. Abbott (1821-1893), Conservative, Fourth Prime Minister, served 1891-1892
It is in near mint, if not mint, condition with no chips, cracks, scratches or other wear to the photographic transfers.  Quite amazing I think!
