Brooklyn George "Shotgun" Shuba signed "The Handshake of the Century" Poster

This is a guaranteed authentic signed poster of what is now being called "The Handshake of the Century" of George "Shotgun" Shuba shaking hands with Jackie Robinson as he crosses the plate after hitting a home run in his second at bat in the minor leagues for Montreal. After watching an ESPN special on George Shuba we remembered that we met him at a Sports Card Show in Strongsville Ohio in the mid 2000's. He signed a 22 x 28 inch poster of the famous handshake. This poster has been in a protective tube ever since. He also gave us some other paperwork on himself and the poster. Mr. Shuba has since passed away in 2014 but will always be remembered for his handshake that helped Jackie Robinson feel welcomed with his fellow ball players. There is a statue to be put up of this famous moment in baseball history in Youngstown Ohio later this summer.
