Battle Sword

"Long before Genghis Khan pillaged and conquered China, barbarian raiders ravaged the borders and civil wars were frequent.  Because we are so far removed from the East, we have heard very little of the wars and battles that have made China a land of turmoil and strife for thousands of years.  This beautiful Chinese curved sword is copied from a surviving specimen in the National Museum in the Forbidden City.  This is the finest replica of these swords  that we have encountered.  Beautiful to see, and beautiful to hold, as the balance is perfect for a one-hand cutting sword.  Some of the most attractive swords we've ever been able to offer."
"The blade is folded damascus steel, with a subdued pattern and a real temper line from the differential heat treating that produces a sword with a very hard edge and a stiff, but flexible back."
The blade is 28 inches long, 1-1/3 inches wide, and over 1/4" thick.  The overall length is 33-1/2 inches. It weighs 1 lb 15 oz without the scabbard.
The scabbard is wood, covered in genuine shark skin.
The sword is in the plastic wrap and appears to have never been handled or displayed. It remains in as-new condition.  The tip is pointed but the blade has not been sharpened.
