OLD CHINESE SWORD BLADE with DRAGON & WRITING

Description

36 9/16 inches long. The the metal that would go into the handle is 7 3/8 inches and the blade is 29 ¼ inches long. The blade is stamped with Chinese writing on one side and a dragon on the other. The left edge on the writing side has some small dings. The stamps have a lighter color of ink in them. The metal is a dark patina with some minor surface rust. Overall, the one side of the blade has maybe 1/6 surface rust and the other side, maybe up to 1/3. Mostly towards the tip. The handle area is a little curved. The threading on the tip of the handle metal looks pretty good. See pictures for all details.
