Original classic photo Bernard Montgomery in Africa, 1942-43

Original (I'm not going to say Type I because there is a lot of confusion about that term, but definitely this is one that was printed in/before 1943--I think the photo was originally taken in December, 1942)….considered to be one of the most iconic WWII photos, it features General Bernard Montgomery in North Africa....I saw a number of repro photos of this particular one listed, and one other original one listed with a very high price ….has AP wirephoto caption title attached on the back ...has two original newsroom date stamps on the back, with the earliest one on January 25, 1943.....for those of you familiar with photos, it is very obviously original newspaper photo..shows fairly heavy wear with small piece of a corner missing lower right, some edge tears and creases, etc.....sold "AS IS"...
I try to price things fairly in the store, not padded or doubled to make room for offers. As a result, I don?t generally take counter-offers on items that I have listed. On occasion, I will have sales on selected merchandise of my choice; if you want to wait for a sale, that is certainly your option, but it will be at a time of my choosing..thanks for understanding my attempt to give the same opportunity and price to all customers.
Shipping and handling cost is listed in the payment options column on this item.....whenever I can, I am always glad to combine shipping for multiple orders?we are always glad to ship to other countries; shipping and handling will be determined by weight of the order and the country shipped to ..for US orders, if you only win one lot on a night, Ebay sends out an invoice for that item, and I will generally not duplicate their effort by sending out an additional invoice?.

Satisfaction guaranteed or money back (no partial refunds with item kept, however, as these encourage people to hairsplit over condition)......a card I describe as nr.mt-mt. generally doesn't have any problems that I notice; I don't grade items mint just in case I miss something small.......I try really hard to grade accurately, but I'm human.....every once in a while I'll completely fall asleep at the wheel and grade something nr.mt. which has tire tracks on it and has been used as a pincushion....if so, it is totally accidental ....if you happen to be the unlucky recipient of such a lot, a POLITE e-mail to that effect will get you a prompt refund just as soon as we get the item back....so will an e-mail talking about my parentage and my integrity, honestly, but it will be a whole lot more pleasant for both of us if you realize that I'm not out to get you!
