    Description

    Piedmont Airlines 737-300 introduction employee model on mahogany base. Given to employees of Piedmont Airlines at Smith-Reynolds Airport in Winston-Salem, NC upon the introduction of the 737-300 in 1986, This excellent condition model was given to my step-father, a 34-year avionics manager for Piedmont, by Tom Davis, Piedmont's founder. It is pristine condition, as we were not allowed to play with it, and it sat behind glass in a display case in our home. It still has the original tag from the shop that made them for Piedmont, and by the condition of the felt pads, you can see it was not moved much at all. Pictures show lovely detail of this high-quality metal model.
