Vintage International Harvester Bear And Cadet Statues. Paper Weight, Awards Collection with Vintage IH Tin, wooden bottomed Tool Box . eBay only allows 12 pictures. I have more pictures available.
Condition is "Used".
This collection is from my uncle’s estate. I had no idea what they were until I did a little research. All 4 Bear’s 4 1/2” each, and 3 Cadets 6” each, were all made in Louisville, Ky., at the International Harvester Company and each represents the start of a particular IH Tractor, Lawn Tractor, etc. Example the Nov. 1960 Cadet was representative of the Cub Cadet line of lawn and garden tractors.
This IH Collection includes:
1 Rare Bear- silver colored. Magnet will not stick to it (aluminum coated maybe) Dated January 1949, Louisville.
1 Bear- Cast Iron Dated January 20,1973 Louisville.
1 Bear -Cast Iron. Dated January 1949 Louisville .
1 Bear Chrome Plated Dated January 1949. Louisville.
1 Cadet -Bronze Dated November 20,1973 Louisville
1 Cadet -Bronze. Dated September 14, 1974 Louisville
1 Cadet -Bronze Dated November 1960 Louisville
For those that are other than cast iron I think they are cast iron underneath the various coatings.
